Short Update: Nanku, Majri and Laaliya manage to escape from Bali’s invasion but Laali decides she has to leave. Laaliya asks for blessings but Nanku feels he has no right to give her daughter blessings. Laaliya leaves as her parents cry. Laali meets Sanichari’s mother and asks if she has any news about Sanichari, however her mother has no news. She has just come to the temple to ask for forgiveness. Laaliya decides she will go Bastora where Ganeshiya is. Nanku and Family also prepare to go Bastora to agree on Rekha’s relationship. Laaliya is waiting on the main road for a vehicle that can assist her in her journey to Bastora.

Yesterday:
Laaliya’s parents are regretting what they have done to their daughter. Majri wants to at least sit with Laaliya only to find she is not in the other room where the others were sleeping. Laaliya is in the field talking to Ganeshiya’s “scarecrow.” She is upset with him and crying in front of him. Majri and Nanku find Laaliya talking to Ganeshiya watching her. Nanku hears Bali in the distance, grabs Laaliya by the arm and all three of them hide. Bali shouts in the heavy rain looking for all three and angrily saying “what will I say to the Thakur?” Bali eventually leaves. Majri has been hurt in the foot which is bleeding badly covered in blood. Laali feels sorry and rips a bit of her saree to tie it around her mother’s wounded leg. Nanku helps Majri up and starts to walk towards their house. Laaliya, without saying anything starts to walk in the opposite direction but is stopped by her mother’s voice. Laaliya explains she had come to see Ganeshiya and now she has to leave. For the first time since Laaliya arrived Nanku’s face crunches up and he cries openly..
Today:
Nanku asks, “What are you saying Bitiya? We don’t want you to go beti.” Laali replies soaked in water, “I didn’t come here to stay Babu.” Majri who is also soaking in the heavy rain is crying. She says, “We have done a lot of bad things to you Laaliya. No parents do such things to their children.” As she says this she starts crying looking downwards and holding her saree tightly around herself as if it is some sort of nightmare. Without showing any emotions Laaliya adds, “What is the point thinking about it now? What was written in my destiny has happened to me. Now it can’t be changed. Nanku interrupts and says, “But beti we didn’t know who you were sold to and where you were sent to.” Laali replies, “What is the point thinking about all that now Babu?” Both Nanku and Majri are looking down and Laali looking at both them like a statue. Laali turns around but Majri’s voice stops her. Laali turns around and looks at her mother who says, “Your life is in danger. Bali is looking for you.” Laali says, “I am not safe here too Mai.” Nanku quickly adds, “But where will you go daughter?” Laaliya replies, “I will wonder in the world’s jungle. What is the profit in me thinking about my destination? Where ever I go, I will live my life.” Laaliya bends down in the heavy rain and gets her parents blessing; her hands shaking in emotion as she does this. Majri can’t stop crying seeing her daughter asking for blessings..[Sad music running in the background] Laaliya looks at her parents as if expecting something. Nanku says, “How can I give you blessing? I have become very small in front of you to give you blessings. You are a Devi [Goddess] and me, not even human. I have no right to give you blessings.” Laali asks for 50 rupees as she has to repay Daali. Nanku asks her if she wants more but she questions him by saying, “How will I repay you?” Laali also starts to show emotions and starts crying. Majri asks if Laali will forget them. Both her parents are crying. Laaliya replies by saying that she is not upset with them. This makes Majri cry even more [Agleee Janaammmm Moheee Bitiyaaa Hiii Kijooo sng running in the background]. Majri lifts her arms in a final attempt to hug her daughter. Laaliya, who the other day didn’t hug her mother, also lifts her arms but doesn’t hug her due to her Shuddikaran. Both Laaliya’s and Majri’s eyes are heavy in tears. Laaliya let’s her arms downs and Majri looks in shock. Laaliya remembers Bali who said to Nanku the day she arrived back home that he had sold her daughter. Then Laaliya remembers the Thakur’s voice, “Your father made a deal with us.” Laaliya remembers her father saying to Majri to forget her to save the future of the other children. Laali makes a brave face and walks away. Majri still has her arms in the air. She remembers the beautiful moments she spent with her daughter. Nanku remembers all those times Laaliya helped her father through difficult times. Both cry as they watch their daughter walk off into the distance. Nanku is so emotional that he falls to the floor crying heavily, Majri follows.
In a path hidden by trees:
Laaliya is walking on her own in the night’s darkness down some stairs, which are covered by leafy trees. Laaliya hears a voice saying “God forgive me. I am have done sin.” Laaliya looks to see it is Sanichari’s mum praying at a small open temple on the side. Laaliya sees flashbacks of everything that had happened to her friend Sanichari and how she was sold by her parents. Laaliya walks towards Sanichari’s mother who has stopped praying and sees Laaliya. She gets up immediately. She asks, “Arre Laali, when did you come?” Laaliya responds by saying “Just today.” Sanichari’s mum questions her by saying, “Like this? Without no messages?” Laaliya cleverly says, “A lot of things come without messages in life Chachi. By the way, why have you come here?” Sanichari’s mother says, “It is said that coming here to pray under the moon reduces your sins.” Laaliya isn’t interested. She asks, “Chachi how is Sanichari? Any messages from her?” Sanichari’s mother starts crying looking down in embarrassment. She says that she has had no messages about her whereabouts. “Bas, I pray to god that my daughter is happy [Laali has tears in her eyes but looks angry] Bas, I just want a chance to repay my sins.” Laali who is disgusted asks, “What do you think Chachi? The sins you have done, will they be washed away by repaying for them?” Silence hits both of them. They stare at each other. Laaliya walks away from her gradually. She is now on the main road which is damp and empty. The darkness of the night is sinking in. Laali is bang in the middle of the road. Laali asks herself, “There are many paths but which one shall I take? Where will I go? My feet are ready to walk, but the road so quiet. Where shall I go?” Clueless Laaliya falls onto the floor in frustration and in the distance see Ganeshiya’s scarecrow shaking in the wind. The raining has stopped but the clouds darken over Laali. Laaliya happily gets up. “I will go to him [Ganeshiya]. That is the only one place where I can go – apne sasural; my house” says Laaliya to herself with a smile. She looks much better then she has in the past couple of episodes.
At Laaliya’s house:
Munna and his sisters wake up at sunrise. They discuss that they need to get ready to go for Rekha’s relationship. Rekha searches for Laaliya. Majri and Nanku look at them miserably. Rekha asks, “Mai where is Laaliya didi? Is she ready?” Her Mai ignores the questions and commands, “Quickly get ready and wear your new clothes. The journey is long and it will take a long time.” Rekha once again asks about Laaliya. Majri is frustrated. She gets up and holds Rekha’s sister’s hand saying,” Why are you lot worried about Laaliya. Go and get ready!” Rekha’s sister says, “Why shouldn’t we be worried? She is the one who is going to get us ready.” Nanku supports Majri by commanding at the children to get ready, adding Laaliya will reach there on her own as an excuse. Rekha’s sister asks, “But where did she go?” Majri annoyingly said, “I am telling you, go and get ready!” Munna shouts that he wants Laaliya didi. Majri shouted, “She has gone from here. You UNDERSTOOD!?” The children are confused and shocked. Rekha perplexed asks one more time where? Munna sweetly asks, “But why did you let didiya go? Call didiya, I will go with her.” Majri is looking down on the floor. Munna holds her saree repeatedly saying, “I want Laali didiya, I want Laali didiya, I want Laali didya…” Nanku gets up and slaps Munna shouting, “CHUPP!” Everyone is shocked, including Majri. Munna looks really sweet as he saddens. Nanku regrets what he has done as he absorbs everyone’s reaction. Nanku leaves. Majri hugs Munna saying, “You made your Babu angry, didn’t you? Come on now, time has come to leave.” Majri leaves. All three children look upset. Eventually a van like bus comes near their house. Majri is locking the door. They all get onto the bus. Nanku informs that they are all going to Bastora.
Main road:
Laaliya is waiting for a vehicle on the main road. She thinks to herself, “Bastora, my Ganeshiya’s home. I am coming…”
Monday:
Bali is in a car talking to the Thakur on the phone. He says, “There is some good news for you. We know where the Ladki [Girl] is.” The Thakur says, “Bring her here.” On the back of a lorry Laaliya is talking to a middle aged woman saying that she is going to her husband and that everything will be fine from now on.

My review: I can understand the rhona dhona is taking its toll but the episode ended on a positive note. Plus Bali too is excited, now he knows where Laali is. I think next week the story will pick up but for today’s episode I will give it a 7/10. This is because they have showed Laali too weak. We all know Laali as a brave girl and if her parents didn’t want her to go then with her support they could have overcome any obstacle ‘ even Bali. All in all, another very emotional episode.
